Interior Design
The urge to decorate one’s surrounding is very deep routed, arising from a basic instinct for self-expression. The owner of this 700sf condo was no exception to this reality. Her need for the thrill of colour and the satisfying repetition of pattern, prompted her to work with Anna and Alain.

Designing this small space did not entail reverting to neutrality. Colour and pattern had their own role to play in this
interior,
and had a heightened impact because their use was deliberate and precise.

By responding to the client’s love for all things whimsical (Fornasetti rugs and specialty items), and our love for colour and pattern, we devised a monochromatic scheme that was bold, yet sophisticated.

created, a sense of unity from area to area by using screens that suggested a division without an abrupt transition of style or effect, all the while introducing softness.

The original rugged character of the building - a 19th century warehouse, combined with our furnishings and accessories gave this
home design
its uniqueness and created just the right textural contrast.
