Champange, Martini & Dessert Carts
Named after George Melies, a pioneer in filmmaking, Cafe Melies was originally founded in 1978 by Claude Chamberlan. It wasn't until 1999 that the cafe was pushed to the forefront of the city's cultural and fine-dining scene when Daniel Langlois decided to revamp the concept and move the cafe into an avant-garde site within the Ex-Centris Complex.

To design a service cart with three interchangeable functions: wine, martini, and dessert.

The carts were all designed with a common frame in mind to facilitate their adaptability, durability and timeless. By simply switching one or two elements of the cart, a wine cart can easily morph into a martini or dessert cart. Working closely with the Meliès team, Igloodgn developed a set of distinctive and functional elements for each service cart.

Through the strength of their simple, and slender design, the carts are stylish and navigate gracefully. This project is a perfect example of how
branding
and product design go hand-in-hand.
